Doesn't get my dishes clean!

I am so disappointed in this dishwasher. We renovated our kitchen 3 years ago and I was so excited about getting new appliances, especially this dishwasher. I have been so unhappy, to say the least. Unless I scrub every ounce of stuff off of my dishes they will come out dirty at the end of the cycle. I have tried to change settings thinking the harder scrubbing would help, but it never does. The silverware is always a mess too. I might as well just not even use the dishwasher since I already have to clean them off before putting them in!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dishwasher Quit Working

This was our second model of this dishwasher---we bought it in June 2016. The first model quit draining three weeks after we bought it, so we replaced with an identical model. Three years later, the bottom wash arm is warped from heat and hits the bottom rack, and the dishwasher quit washing during a cycle. It fills and drains but no longer washes. I know the unit has a year warranty but it should not have quit this soon. When it worked, it performed very well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We've had this dishwasher for about 3 years, it runs really quiet which is probably the absolute best part, now after a very short 3 years, it won't turn on. BUT this isn't the first time we've had issues with it. NO luck whatsoever finding a fix for it and a GE service person isn't available in our area. The last GE dishwasher we had lasted 14 years, guess they are no longer built to last, very disappointing!

Overall the dishwasher is good. I only have one big complaint. The silverware basket in the front is tiny! Then it gets jammed packed and nothing gets clean. So I always have silverware that needs to be washed again. There is another basket to put inside but it's long and the silverware falls over and then doesn't get clean in that either.

Quiet Dishwasher

Overall I am quite pleased with our dishwasher purchased in 2015! We use it hard and it can keep up for the most part! We ran into an issue where the dishes were not getting dry, it is fairly easy to replace parts on it and GE stands behind their parts for 1 year. I replaced the heating element and the issue is not fixed so I am replacing the "flood thingy ma bob" and a few gaskets for good measure! Hoping that fixes it!
