Builder grade, a little noisy and the silverware doesn't always come out clean

Lower rack tines not positioned to maximize space

Extremely disappointed to discover we cannot use the lower rack to fit both our dinner plates and bowls which we use the most side by side. The four previous dishwashers fit these plates and bowls without issue over the last 26 years. The tines toward the back look like they should have been positioned a half inch toward the back to fit both plates and bowls side by side. We cannot run the dishwasher at capacity because of this issue. Now we either have to wash dishes by hand or run the dishwasher only half full. Either way that defeats the purpose of saving water.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stopped working after 3 months

Dishwasher stopped working after 3 months (would not even turn on). Dishwasher was brand new (still had stickers and stuff inside) when we purchased a spec home the end of March. Because it was bought by the builder over a year ago, warranty will not be honored (many phone calls asking for follow-up later!). 5th home we have purchased, never had a problem with any appliance from other manufactureres. Also, only 2 people live in the home, so was not used heavily. Would never recommend a GE product!
