Dishwasher broke less than two months after install, energy repair person was not only rude but said it was no longer covered under warranty, since the manufacture date was so long ago. He says it was manufactured six years ago, even though we bought it when construction started on our house and it was installed in January of this year. Terrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ours died after 4 years in new construction home. GE is working with us to keep the brand loyalty, but this was really a disappointment.

Absolute absolute junk

What a waste of metal. This 3 year old dishwasher has never washed properly at all during its pitiful existence. After figuring out a combo of detergent and rinse aid it’s only ever done a mediocre job on its best day. Finally the exhaust pump broke and it dumped water everywhere so I repaired it. It’s worked for a few months more and it’s just started leaking from a totally different spot.
Never ever will I ever buy GE anything again. It’s embarrassing and pathetic that a US company would feel comfortable selling such junk.

Nice design but looks aren't everything!

We bought this to replace an original GE dishwasher from 2001 and couldn't be more disappointed. We tried dishwasher tablets and liquid but our float switch still needs to get "cleaned" every 6 months or so. Its easy to get too however, I never thought my dishwasher would require this much maintenance!!!! When it runs properly it does wash the dishes but even that is debatable.

Worst Dishwasher Ever

I have had nothing but problems with this product. The control panel has been replaced twice by repairman and it is now not working a third time. I have only had this dishwasher for four years!! More money has been spent on the dishwasher repair than on the new dishwasher itself.

Garbage. Don’t buy!!!

Junk. Stopped working after a few years. Turned off and on for a couple days and now won’t turn on anymore. Same with a New GE fridge, fans keep making noise and one already went out. These where both new in a new home build. Garbage products. Now waiting to the stove and micro to go out too.

When it works - GREAT, power connections/board bad

When the dishwasher works, it does a great job with not a lot of noise. Problem is we have to keep messing with the power connections and the door connections. Power board and fuse failed within three months. Replacement board installed but it still works when it is in the mood.
