Problems after problems with this dishwasher not cheap waste of money - looks brand new but doesn’t work how could the board be broke already - not buying Ge anymore

We purchased this almost 4 years ago but barely used. Sometimes we ran just to keep the system fresh. This was not a cheap unit so we are very disappointed with GE product in this case

Stopped working after 5 years

Like some previous reviews, it appears this dishwasher had a faulty board that caused it to stop working after a few years. Very frustrating because it was a good dishwasher when it worked, but now it no longer has power and it looks like buying a new board and hiring someone to replace it will almost cost as much as a brand new dishwasher.

Control boards are not good and not reliable.

Reviews about the control boards. There are 2 control boards one is at the top and one is at the bottom . Both of them went out in span of 6 years . One went you last year . the bottom one went out this year. If I need to buy the dishwasher I will try not get the same type of dishwasher.

Mediocre while it lasts

We named our dishwasher “Marilyn” after the ditzy blonde. It sure looks good but unless you are using high priced “packets” it’s not going to clean the dishes. We found our sweet spot between efficiency and expense until she died. Finding GE no longer makes home appliances and certainly no parts. I’m removing those two letters from my alphabet.
