So quiet and great options!

I refurbished my kitchen and decided to get all new appliances. Boy, am I glad that I got the GE ones that I chose. I love this dishwasher. It is so quiet, I literally have to go check to make sure it's running. It cleans so well and I love the little "bells" to tell me when it's done.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had this for a few months now and love it. It washes better than any dishwasher we have owned and it is quieter than any other. It is so easy to use. Installation was also easy with good instructions.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had this dishwasher for about 3 years. We run it maybe twice a month over those 3 years. The door latch will not recognize that the door is closed. I purchased and installed a new door latch that allowed the unit to run for a whole 2 more cycles before failing. Purchased another door latch a few weeks later, installed it but the door is still not being recognized as closed even though it is. Not only am I dealing with this, but I spend weeks a few months ago fixing my GE refrigerator that is the same age. Especially the slate finish. Unfortunately for use we bought the slate fridge, range, dishwasher, microwave all at the same time. Because GE is the only brand to offer this color, when we replace these pieces of garbage we will have mismatch appliances.

Had this dishwasher for only three years and suddenly it would not start. Thinks the door is open. Ran dianostics and with the door closed it says that it is open. Figured it was the door switch easy fix (NOT) easy to install the door switch but that did'nt fix the issue. Now it seems the control board is bad and I can't even get a replacement. The date code on the board says 2014. What the heck I bought it in 2017.
Don't buy these dishwashers.
I had a old Maytag that I sold that was still working after 15 years.

Only lasts 3 years.

This machines works great for 3 years. When you need to reset the machine because it doesn't defect the door closed, go but a new one. The control board is about to die and GE doesn't manufacture it anymore. You can change - or simply disassemble and dust yours to get an extra month on this machine while your new machine from another brand arrives.

I have had this unit for maybe 1 1/2 to 2 years. It has been a headache. The gasket on the door has been replaced 3 times for terrible leakage and it is now leaking yet again onto my hardwood flooring . I have to keep a cookie sheet under the door to catch the leaking water. The repairman has no idea why it leaks, he just keeps replacing the gasket. Today was the final straw. I am now in the market for a new dishwasher and it will definatly NOT be a G.E.

We bought it with the house the only problem is we started using it about a year after we bought the house we only used it about three or four times and was over a year already so the warranty wasn’t any good like I said we only used it three or four times and it broke down I believe it’s the computer board
