Compared to my very old, and outdated dishwasher, this is quiet, aesthetically pleasing, and does the job well. Also, I got it for a FANTASTIC price. To be fair, and honest, I just installed and used it yesterday, though.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very good dishwasher

I love this new dishwasher compared to my old one. I just got it installed a month ago. It is spacious and very quiet. It even has the 1/2 wash load feature that I like.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We love this dishwasher! Let me count the ways ...
1. Quiet. Sooo quiet. Thank you GE.
2. Gorgeous finish - slate in this case is stainless, finger print free. All the buttons are on the front AND it even tells you how many minutes are remaining in the cycle.
3. The top rack is deeper than my old dishwasher. You can put the big stuff on top if you want.
4. Tons of silverware space! And you stand it straight up and down in openings that allows the eating end of silverware to get really clean.

I have not had a chance to use the machine often enough to write an objective review. It takes about 3 months of use to review an appliance performance.
As to appearance: very nice looking with low sound levels.

A work horse

My wife does the laundry at our home and she can depend on the great features of a washer that does a great job in cleaning our clothes. This one does. Only one problem. We had to get it repaired three times (covered by insurance) for a leak at the connection with the drain hose.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It is the worse dishwasher I ever owned. I have owned quite a few GE dishwashers before and this is the worse.
