Somewhat misleading

Overall it gets things really clean. Part of this is it runs forever!! Average cycle both racks, normal wash, heat dry is 2hrs. until done. Adding steam, heavy wash will bring it to over 3 hours... Previous GE model I had got things clean in an hour cycle. Being an engineer, the longer things run means more wear and tear on parts so keep that in mind. The unit is also not as quiet as its marketed to be. It has a constant high pitch motor sound. This just may be our particular unit. Either way, its at a very annoying pitch that seems to cause headaches. The bottle jets are nice and great for any bottle that can fit and flask.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fantastic GE Dishwasher

I have always loved GE products, This dishwasher is so quite and I have never had my dishes so clean and spot free. And the new slate color is beautiful!

Seems very high quality, and we love the features, like silverware in the door and the bottle washers. Plus, it's made in the USA.

The front control panel is sensitive, if children in house consider top control model.

My favorite features are the "time remaining" and "delayed start" features. I had delayed start in my last machine. The only thing I would change about this delayed start is the need to press start after placing additional dishes in washer.

Great washer

A much needed upgrade from 16 year old washer. This washer has plenty of room, cleans with a mild rise on the dishes so you don't have to do so much pre wash. Dishes come out shiny and some of the old water spotty dishes look even better now
