Dishwasher stopped working, with very little use

We bought the dishwasher in 2018 for our beach condo. We have used the dishwasher less than 50 times. The problem started when the control panel would intermittently not respond - no lights, no beeps, nothing. Came to the condo today and the dishwasher is completely dead - no signs of life. For a dishwasher unit that gets very little use, this is extremely disappointing. Looks like this is a common problem with GE dishwasher model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor product. Stay away!

This product works well when it is working, but it doesn't work all of the time. Looks like we are having the same issue as many other's who have this dishwasher, where it beeps 3 times and the cycle doesn't start. I've seen where GE will tell you to unplug it for 2-3 minutes and then try again, which didn't work for us and looks like doesn't work for anyone else. Then the recommendation is to schedule a time for a tech to come out and look at it. Unfortunately, if you do this you'll already spend more going this route than you would just purchasing a new dishwasher.

Replacement parts expensive

Just thought I would let you know that I have had to replace the Latch tub side switch twice and the Service machine control board since purchasing

Will never buy another GE appliance again.

Dishwasher started beeping randomly as if door was opened about two years ago. Gradually got worse and then started to go to no power at all that would require the breaker to be cycled to restore power to dishwasher. Changed main control board which corrected nothing. After that, I replaced the door switch, which kept dishwasher from beeping randomly for about two days, then it went dead again and not even cycling the breaker will revive it. Am going to try a new UI cord and if that doesn't work, I will be junking this dishwasher. After doing some research, I have read that Techs say GE is aware of a problem with this dishwasher but wont recall it. I went out about four years ago and replaced all my appliances with new GE appliances. With the exception of the stove, they have all given me nothing but problems. I am finished with GE.

Nice Slate Color

Bought this washer to match my GE stove and fridge in the slate color. I just started using it, so far so good, although the running time on a normal load of 75 minutes is much longer than my old one.

I am extremely happy with not only my dishwasher now but all the GE appliances I have purchased in the last 6 months. Kitchen is all GE and couldn't ask for anything better.
