DO NOT BUY! WORST washer ever!

I am SO disappointed with this GE product!! I bought this wash machine 2 1/2 years ago.. It is the worst appliance I have ever owned. We went with the top loader due to mildew issues with front loaders and no agitator since they 'ruin your clothes'. I would gladly take either one now! This machine literally does NOT clean clothes. I have pulled DIRTY clothes (including underwear!) out of my DRYER more times than I would like to remember! (The dryer works great) I have tried multiple different types of laundry soap, (which, if you use too much the tub stinks) deep fill, I have tried EVERYTHING to get my clothes to come out clean! Most of the time I just wash them twice. (How "efficient") The clothes just 'shift' back and forth without even tumbling. I have even pulled clothes out and found them still DRY! I follow the manufactures recommendation on load sizes and still nothing works. If you wash sheets they wrap around themselves in a donut shape and don't clean. (Look on You tube for other peoples videos) I can't believe they are still selling this piece of junk! Buyer BEWARE!

Black clothes come out with dirt residue

Bought this washer is early 2016 and for probably a year now (after warranty, if course), we have noticed that mostly our black clothes come out of the washer with some sort of dirty residue all over. Have to wash those twice, at least. The clothes come out dirtier than they went in the washer. It's very frustrating.
(We also have the matching dryer and it seems like it is not drying as well as it used to anymore)
Will definitely NOT buy GE appliances! Very disappointed.

Love this Machine

The old washing machine gave out after thirty years of service. This new GE Washer is like coming out of The Dark Ages to a new, modern machine. Its amazing to watch this machine operate with the clear top, which is a lot different from the Olde Agitator, Boiler Plate machine that I had. The new GE Machine also has a Limited 10 Year Warranty, which is a lot different from other brands.

I love this washing machine and got a great deal. It not only gets our clothes so clean but, fits a full load with no problem. I love to do the laundry now.

Worst washing machine I have ever used

I do not feel like this washing machine works well. No matter how much water I put in it, sometimes I still pull out clothes that have dry marks that show that water hasn’t even touched them. Other times the spin cycle doesn’t finish and my clothes are dripping wet. I am very careful about not putting too many clothes in at once. Since it can’t handle a lot of clothes, I have to do additional loads just to get my daily laundry done.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
