I'm disappointed how much louder this is compared to the one it replaced. We were torn between this one and another make but this had more features. The noise alone would keep me from recommending. On the second usage it never released the fabric softener or spun out the rinse cycle. It took multiple times stopping and restarting unit just to get it to drain.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GE Brought Our Clothes Back to Life!

This new GE washer brings an unexpected joy into our life! It gave us a window into the cleaning process every step of the way. The LED screen enlightened us with the current process taking place. Watching this, along with reading the manual, showed us how we got the great clean our clothes received. Wow! Everyone needs this machine.

This washer is amazing. It holds a lot of clothes. My wife really like the water saving levels and the ease of using the washer. She also likes the my cycle settings you set it once and it has it stored in its memory no matter what setting you choose.
