Machine is lovely. Many features to attract buyer. Problem is there is no agitator to really stir the soup. The washer works well but clothes are not as clean as a plain- jane older agitator model. Very disappointed .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this washer about 4 months ago and am very pleased with the performance for the most part. Washing blankets is a challenge as it never spins completely...I have to run through the spin cycle twice. The fabric softener has just recently quit working which concerns me also. I plan to contact GE about the warranty on this.

The washer uses less water and spins the clothes very quickly. The dryer has less to do and dries quickly.
