Wonderful machine that won't rust out !

We both love this machine.
At first we were waiting for the noise that so many talked about but after about 4 washes we moved on to bigger and better things as the noise level is not bad at all.
Maybe if people did not make a big deal about this we might have thought it was loud but it's not bad at all.
It uses much less water than our other machine and that's a big deal to me as water in Florida is getting very expensive.
Bottom line-if you have a few extra bucks buy this and you won't be disappointed.

I purchased this due to the appropriate depth I needed to fit in the closet type space in an upstairs laundry, and the larger basket size. With our first load the close were not fully spun and were dripping wet. We read the manual and learned we had to adjust the spin setting which we did not have on our prior washer. It works fine now that we know how to set it, no problems. It is loud but I knew of this from other reviews when I purchased it, however this was the largest washer I could find with this specified depth. It holds a lot of laundry and the clothes are clean. That is what I wanted.

Good Basic Washer

We bought this dryer after perusing many other Brands, Why basically because we have always bought GE appliances. The other reasons are simple we didn't want fancy appliances that had all the bells and whistles, because that is not who we are.
This washer has enough selections to satisfy us as far as washing goes but yet is very easy to operate for anyone. The fact that the rating on most other Brands were not as good as our GE appliances helped us decide also, plus it is Energy Star.

GREAT WASHER!

I AM A COMPLETE TOP LOADER FAN BUT WAS A LITTLE HESITANT TO GETTING ONE WITHOUT A TALL AGITATOR BUT I AM SO GLAD I WENT WITH THIS WASHER BECAUSE IT DOES WAS JUST AS AMAZING AS THE GOOD OLE TOP LOADER AND YOU CAN PUT COMFORTERS AND PILLOWS IN HERE WITH NO PROBLEM! THE DRUM IS HUGE! (LOVE THAT) AND IT IS ALSO VERY APPEALING TO THE EYE WITH ITS SLEEK DESIGN!

My old machine broke my son purchased this one as a gift thought it was beautiful but doesn't run without me always readjusting the items I'm washing

Please check that the machine is level by placing a level on the lid from side to side and then from front to back. If the machine is not level in both these measurements it will cause the loads to get off balance. Also, be sure that the loads you are washing are evenly distributed. For example, denim and towels hold a lot of water so you would want to be sure not to wash them with lighter items as they may get bunched together and cause loads to get off balance during the high-speed spin. If these tips are not helpful you can always have the unit checked by a service technician by scheduling an appointmnet at 1-800-GE-Cares. We appreciate you taking the time to review.
