Leaves Lots of Soap Residue on Clothes

This washer seems to have an issue with leaving residual soap on clothes - check the forums and you will see tons of posts about this. Even running an additional rinse doesn't help (and negates the water-economy you're supposed to get with this model).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Washer noise

I am incredibly unhappy with this washer. The wash cycle is so loud. I thought it wasn't working properly and actually had a repair man out but he said it was normal. Even with the door closed, it can be heard throughout the entire house. I have only had it 3 months and do not suggest anyone buy GE washers. Extremely disappointed and not happy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

good washer

i like the washer with one exception, no matter how i distribute the clothes in the drum, it always is out of balance and bangs during the spin.

Just what I needed

After having a front load washer for years I decided I wanted to go back to a traditional top loader. I've read many reviews before buying this washer but all I can say is I love my new GE Washer. It's quite, fast, and gets the job done!

Although it was a little challenging to get used to at first I really like this washer. It has many different settings that allow you to wash anything just the right way. It makes some different noises and goes through some extra steps at the beginning of a cycle but it cleans our clothing well and leaves it smelling fresh every time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Being able to wash king size sheets without them ending up in a huge ball is a huge plus, and with a lot less water.
