Excellent washer, well done GE

Just purchased this unit and it is fantastic! Cleans so well and is fairly quiet. Noise level is less than half of my old GE HE top loader. Don't believe the negative reviews, it cleans unbelievably well, it is huge, and is quiet. The unit is next to a play room and we can not hear it with door shut and tv on. This is with just bifold doors separating the rooms. Just make sure it is level and read and follow the instructions. Any out of balance complaints are strictly from poor loading, not separating laundry, and/or not properly leveling the unit. I can't say enough how happy we are with this model, well done GE, the review was spot on as well. Thanks.

Really large interior

This washer holds a lot of clothes and sheets and blankets. Very large drum and fun to watch wash.

Lousy! Spin cycle sucks unless u LOVE to iron!

I hate it and wish I had my old washer back. Unfortunately, it broke, and GE couldn't fix it. This new one has a ridiculous spin cycle. Even on the lowest cycle, it spins so hard, that everything comes out very wrinkled. The only way to avoid this and not to have to iron the commonest items that used to look ok after the dryer, I have to set it to "no spin", and then start a special spin and shut it off after 30 second or so, or else, pull the stuff out dripping whet. I may save some money and buy a different washer. I wonder if the spin can be adjusted.

We have had the washer for about a week and have used it several times. Works well and cleans well. I love the way it adjusts the water. Louder than my old washer but not too loud. It is a keeper.
