Questionable appliance

Washer does not spin properly in sheet mode. When washing towels and sheets the spin cycle will spin so high that it goes off balance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have had the GE washer for about a month now. The lack of agitator and new low-water consumption takes some getting used to, but so far we like it, and it has done a good job getting clothes clean. I am careful to use detergent for HE machines and have started to do the monthly cleanings of the drum to avoid problems I have read about with HE machines. I think the only real criticism, and it has more to do with the design of all these new machines, is that loads can get unbalanced easier than the old models, so you need to be more carefully in loading the clothes at the start unless you want to fiddle with things during the spin cycle. Otherwise, it has worked very well for us so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this to replace another brand which was recalled. I first looked at this washer after positive reviews, and the fact that it was made in the USA, which should help finding repair parts if necessary. I have been pleased so far with how it washes. It has plenty of options and I like the extra fill option.
