Great Features

Just had my matching washer and dryer installed today and so far so good. Washer is a bit loud but works very well. Dryer's glass gets a little warm to touch buts works great so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is not your traditional washer. I LOVE this GE Infuser HE washer. Lots of options and the deep fill works great too. Not loud at all. Spin cycle is very effective and less drying time. If you're like me, I'm TIDE clean and it comes in HE detergent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

WORST Washing Machine I have ever owned.

Worst washing machine I have ever had in my life. I purchased a GE Profile front loader from HD in 2008. When it started leaking water out of the front door with every load, I knew it was time to go back to a top loader since the machine worked well besides the leak. Unfortunately, GE stopped selling the Profile and I loved how my Profile washing machine and dryer "communicated" with each other through their computer systems, and the dryer knew exactly what kind of clothes were going in it, and it automatically changed the settings. So, I figured that another GE washing machine, 8 years newer, would DEFINITELY be able to communicate with my existing GE dryer. WRONG...But that's not the worst part. Yes, it's loud when washing, but I can get over that part. Even with small loads of clothes, my clothes will come out only half wet! Some of my kids clothes still have crumbs on them from dinner! They have soap still on them that never got blended into the wash because of the lack of water that goes into the machine! Other times, I open up the soap dispenser to fill it with soap, and I realize that the soap from the load before never even got dispensed into the basin! I find that I have to do a "deep fill" for every load for the clothes to come out wet, and that completely prevents this from being an Energy Star appliance. I miss the GE Profile, I want a new washing machine, this one that I purchased two months ago is JUNK.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this washer with matching dryer as a set. The washer has tons of features found on more expensive machines. Cleans clothes with easily and quietly. Wonderful washer!

We bought this washer 2 weeks ago and are thrilled with it's features and performance! Perfect for our small family of two. I have washed comforters, curtains, everything... love it so much I started spring cleaning early to use all the cycles!
