too much noise..too little water

After reading many reviews for washers, the fact that this model has a see thru top and the ability to add water was a deciding factor. I like the many features and speed. Noise is crazy. The recirc pump hums very loud. When the spinning starts and other times, some loose panel inside somewhere rattles loudly. Then hang on.
Once the spin speeds up, you'll swear the machine is gonna launch. The "regular" cycle is useless. You cannot add water to this cycle. So little water is used in this cycle that you can actually hear your clothes getting beat. I always select more water for the other cycles. Many other things I could go into. I think my machine has defects. I'm going to take it apart sometime and try and find that rattle at least. I have to admit that it does seem to wash clothes very well overall. I like the large size. That being another reason I chose this model. I can wash comforters etc. now compared to my old machine.

This Washer far exceeded my expectations

I did exhaustive research before purchasing this unit. The quality, the size, the digital display, and overall construction convinced me this was the machine. Obviously my wife was the determining factor for the replacement of her old GE profile Washer. We completed our first wash getting acclimated to the unit and found the instruction booklet was easy to follow, the computer digital read out explains the various functions such as settling, water flow, size of wash and its content etc.thus virtually eliminating the human element for mistakes. Also there is an abundance of cycles, rinses etc. In conclusion outstanding machine for the benefits offered at a more then reasonable price especially when its on sale. I highly recommend this machine. Lastly do not be misled by some people complaining about excessive noise or vibration I have not experienced either concern so far. Thank you Pete
