Noisy gear sounds while washing

I chose this washing because I could reach the bottom of the tub to retrieve the clothes. Many are too deep for a short person. This is a very noisy washer. The gear sounds are so loud that I have to close the laundry room door when it is running. I use liquid pods and the dark clothes have noticeable white residue marks unless I use the fill button to add more water. I do like the dryer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This washer works very well. The only problem is with the spin cycle. It spins the heck out of clothes.

Until the drum started banging the frame

Installed 3/23/2017. Washed sheets and comforter on 3/31/2017, during the Spin Cycle the drum started going out of control. It started hitting the walls of the frame, like the drum got derailed. I had to pause it and re-start it.
-1 star for the mention performance issue.

Adjusts to the weight of the clothes

I purchased this in November 2016 . I had a family member that was over loading the old machine and put it on small load. They can not do that any more. I love the versatility .

This machine has several drawbacks. After the wash cycle (and the rinse cycle too), the water drains down through the clothes, leaving a residue on top of the clothes. Even though the Items are evenly distributed when the washer is loaded, the load usually shifts, causing the drum to bang against the sides. The machine spins at a high speed, even on the normal setting, and the machine sometines moves across the floor (I have never over-loaded the machine). In addition, larger items come out badly twisted, so that things which need to line dry then need ironing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broken after 2 months

I bought this new 2 months ago and already it's stopped spinning at the end when it's time to drain and spin the water out of the clothes. Also, It hasn't really been great at washing the clothes well, from day one. I have to rewash a number of items that are heavily soiled (diapers).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tub easily off balance

Bought this set 2 months ago. It seems to clean ok. Machine shakes and rattles during spin cycle more than I like for a new set. It's fairly quiet. But every other load it seems I have to pause the cycle and move the clothes to make sure they are evenly spaced so the cycle spins without hitting the tub against the machine. Annoying!

LOVE this washer!

We received a free washer after moving into our house and it broken last month. It was an older washer and didn't clean too well. I am over the moon excited about how great this washer is! It's so nice to be able to do such big loads and have the clothes come out so clean! My boyfriend is a mechanic so his clothes get really stained. It takes the smell and stains right out!
