Very noises. Soap doesn't desolve. Doesn't rinse thoroughly.

tears through clothes

I've used this washer one month, and it's destroyed 2 bras, put holes in 3 towels, countless shirts and socks. Do not mix regular clothes with towels, you're asking for a massive lint party!
The only reason I got one of the uprights was my laundry area was too shallow to accommodate a front loader.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This washer is great for the price. It handles large loads; I can wash a king size bedspread easily. I have had no issues with balance or not filling up properly. It is pretty loud, but as it is in my basement, this has not been an issue. It has great features and my clothes come out clean. However clothes are very wrinkled. This may be a concern if you don't use a dryer and/or hate to iron.

Quieter than previous front loader

Bought this a month ago and extremely happy with this machine. Owned a front loader really didn't like it at all. Noisy, smelly and not easy to load and unload.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love, love this washer and especially with the deep fill and deep rinse option on this model. Also love the glass top, as you can actually see just how much water, soap suds or what ever. My husband even loves this washer as he sees just how well it does performs.

So so quiet and reliable

My last washer broke down and water was everywhere. I threw it out and bought a new GE washer. Great decision. In the past, I could only afford previously owned washers, so decided it was time for brand new. So many improvements!!! Low water, so quiet and no need for monitoring. Love, love, love you GE!!!
