I absolutely love my new ge doe 4.6 cub ft washer!! I've had it for about a week and I have done at least 15 loads. I've been washing items just to wash and test the capacity and cleanliness capabilities of this washer!! Fabolous!! Not once have I had detergent residue, dry spotted clothes, dirty items or load defects. Loads from x-small speed washes to x-large bulky and jean loads and not once have I not been satisfied. I recommend this washer 100% to those looking for the perfect washer. At times it is a little loud BUT again it is a top load washer and their not meant to be silent and they definitely get the job done!! My favorite part is the "my cycle" that you create and save ! Works wonderful !

I bought this because I needed a smaller washer. My only negative is that it spins wrinkles into the clothes even the dryer won't get out.

Huge drum

Had it for 2 months & so far so good! The drum is huge! Family of 5 so I have lots of wash to do, the size seems to cut down on the number of loads I actually have to do, which is a huge plus for me! Seems to wash the clothes really well!

Very efficient

This is my first washer of this type (no agitator in the middle) and I am surprised by how much I like it! It's super water efficient and everything comes out clean and well rinsed. I had to learn to wash my work clothes on Delicate because anything more active makes them come out with wrinkles. Luckily, the first time this happened, I watched them closely in the dryer and was able to get them out without wrinkles. Once I realized that and started using Delicate they have been fine. I washed everything from delicates to rugs the first week I had this washer. The only thing that threw it out of balance is a king size cotton coverlet. I had to reposition that two or three times.

Terrible item!

Very disappointed. Wish, I could bring it back. There is never enough water to cover the laundry, even with "Deep-Fill" Function. During the whole cycle, there is always tiny amounts of water trickling down, but this is not enough to really rinse the laundry clean. Plus the machine makes to many scary noises. The hose in back is banging against the machine. I don't have the feeling of cleanliness after washing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
