I bought this because I needed a new washer and I had a GE before and was more than satisfied with it. I do not like this washer as there is no rinse only cycle and no delicate spin cycle
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works well but NOISY

This was the standard option when I purchased my new home. It works well, has a large tub BUT it is extremely noisy on the spin cycles.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This machine looks really modern and the drum is very big. The washing sounds are taking some getting used to, but the manual advised what to expect. The challenge I have had involves choosing the best cycle to use -- the cycle names don't sufficiently describe the items I am washing. Also, when I wash smaller loads, the machine shakes and moves across the floor. Still, it's a nice washer.

I bought this washer just over a month ago after a ton of research, and am very very happy so far. Noise isn't an issue for us, since our washer and dryer are in the basement, and the longer cycles aren't a problem either, since the extra time our clothes spend in the washer is more than offset by less time in the dryer. The huge variety of settings allows for lots of flexibility to easily accommodate any type, size or combination of items we've thought to throw in, and my husband and I both came to the conclusion--independently of one another--that our clothes are cleaner than our old washer got them...right down to old socks looking whiter and brighter, and set-in stains on yard-work clothes being noticeably lightened. We'll see how reliable the machine turns out to be over time, but so far we are really happy with our purchase, and would whole-heartedly recommend this brand and model.
