Great size, quiet operation

We installed this washer 11 months ago and we’ve been pleased up until now. It’s a nice big size drum, operates quietly and cleans the clothes great. Just this past weekend however it’s began the annoying habit of turning itself on! We’ve begun to unplug it when not it use and hope the GE repairs the issue timely.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We picked this unit because it is American made and fit the dimensions we needed it to. So far, it does everything it's supposed to, we are happy with the results.

Basic operations without all the bells and whistle

I've had a GE washer and dryer for the last 13 years. I've been very happy with them but alas, they have worn out. So, I got two new GE products (washer/dryer). The first thing I noticed is that the clothes smell so much fresher out of the new washer. The machines are easy to operate and have a large capacity. There are lots of options depending on the load you're doing. So far, I am very pleased.

Very different from the older types

I bought this in June because we needed a new washer. I didn't want a front loader because I've heard bad things but I was also weary of this one not having a agitator in it. It has a small one but I'm not used to it of course lol. It's ok but to me it doesn't fill up with enough water to cover the clothes even on deep fill. I just can't see how it's getting the clothes "cleaner" than the old style!? I'll give it a few months.
