A great appearing product with all of the most up to date features. Energy Star rated, many wash choices for efficiency and hot water savings, extra large capacity and quiet too. The finish is beautiful and I like GE quality !

Very loud and shakes my entire house

Had this for a week now. It is extremely loud, shakes my entire house when it spins and the fabric softener does not dispense in any of the cycles I’ve used so far.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not so good

Purchased a new home and was supplied with this washer. I would never purchase this product on my own, makes a lot of noise and am not satisfied with the whole operation of it plus I feel the clothes are not getting as clean as other products I have had.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I thought that I would try GE due to the reviews. The washer is tall and unable to lower to suit my size. I am 5'4" and have to be on tip toes to get everything out of the tub. I don't like the soap and softer drawer. There is always water left in it after the cycle is complete. The spin selector always seems to jump to max. This makes the washer vibrate and rub against the dryer. It also sounds like a plane taking off. Sometimes the spin cycle has a ratcheting sound, kind of like a gear slipping.
It does seem to do a good job of cleaning my clothes, but I am unhappy overall.

Great results so far...

The reason I say so far is that our family has gone through 4 washing machines in the last 12 years. That's not a very good average. I looked in all kinds of ways for a new machine. After looking at every price ranges from $400 to $1300...looked at feature after feature...and finally settled on the good reviews, features and price of this machine. So far I agree completely with those reviews (positive) that I read. It takes stains out like gangbusters. It's easily 25% faster. It's quick clean cycle is amazing and more than enough to clean things if they aren't stained or used for very active reasons.
