Just bought this washer this past weekend but so far I'm very happy with it. There are a lot of choices to choose from for your laundry needs. (soil level, water level, temp level,spin speed, etc.) Easy to figure out and the machine is fairly quiet. It's a deep basin so if you're short like me (under 5') it's a little hard to reach that sock at the bottom. But overall, a great machine for the price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought almost 2 years ago within the first year had to have someone come fix it, it leaked and ruined my wall, now I am currently trying to figure out if it is my control board or the motor that needs replacing because i dont have money to have someone come look at it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thrilled with my new GE washer and dryer

Just another great GE product. I have had the best luck with all my GE appliances. 30 plus year of nothing but GE. This washing was second up from the base model and is beautiful. I can't believe all the feature. I love the detergent holder, no more worries about the straight dump of detergents on dry fabrics. The only down fall is at 5'1' is tough to reach into the very bottom of the barrel for that last sock....would that have been enough to deter me from this purchase ? Absolutely not! GE products are the best. As family members continue to buy other products and they fail within one year, I stick with GE !
