First of all the machine is very noisy. Also I thought the agitator was tall but it's not. The hose came out of the drain in the wall twice flooding my room. I've had to take it down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like this washer except the end of cycle buzzer needs to be louder. That is the only negative thing

I bought this type of product for the 1st time, with no agitator, mostly wanted to see the washer washing large comforters, and it cleaned well, BUT, didn't expect the low consumption of water in the machine, tried to add more water. not sure I'll ever buy this type of machine again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Choice!

I looked at several brands and styles before I purchased my new washer. GE has always been a reliable brand for me when purchasing appliances. Even the people that work in the appliance industry agree that GE is quality. My new washer is amazing! I could immediately see the difference in the cleanliness and freshness of my laundry. The settings make it so versatile and easy to wash just about anything and I was amazed at the size of the tub. I loved my washer so much that I got the matching dryer. Now I can't imagine how I ever did laundry without this dynamic duo!

Still not sure that clothes are really clean with a small amount of water. We are two senior adults so our clothes are not really dirty so it's hard to tell. I do use the deep fill option frequently, especially for towels. Does a good job of wringing the clothes out so they dry pretty quickly. Overall, there are very few options left for agitating washers versus water savers.

Great cleaning power

I cannot believe how great this washing machine is just the other day I put in a load of clothes and my baseball cap which is black and has white lettering on it it was looking kind of dingy and not white lettering anymore so I threw it in the wash this machine has no agitator what's that thought was kind of strange but when my clothes came out and I put them in the dryer that hat looks brand new the white lettering stitch lettering was completely white again I was amazed I would definitely recommend this washing machine
