Solid Machine

Have had this washer for about three months. It is a solid piece of equipment. No more guessing at water levels - it determines that for you. The machine is quiet. There are more settings than I would have come up with, but each one accomplishes something slightly different. It is a deep machine, so I can imagine it could be difficult if someone were short (I am 5'4"), but I would definitely recommend this machine.

Great Washer

So far so good. Bought this GE Washer because my old GE Dryer of 19 years finally needed a repair. Felt it was better to put money into a new updated unit and buy the pair - even though the old GE washer still works. Like the controls because they are simple. Also, like being able to see through glass lid into the drum & the deep fill water option. The drum doesn't have an upright agitator & is way deeper than my old washer so there is enough room to put a large comforter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy Install

The manufacturer of my old clothes washer stopped making the timer for my 1999 unit so I bought this GE product 2 weeks ago due to price and great reviews. The new unit is lighter but easy to install. A little adjustment on the legs and soon the unit was up and running. It looked smaller but the inside is really huge. Started using and already finished 4 loads in 3 hours.

Low water usage

I was concerned that the water level in the basket was so low that the clothes would not get clean, but the cleaning seems to be excellent.
