Great washing machine I feel like its Christmas all over again.
Clean clothes excellent! Love the digital display. The Bulk wash is awesome!!! Quiet machine. Wow I use to wash every week now I can fit 2wks of clothes in the machine and some. I use less detergent and water.

No agitator, no wash

I bought the GE washer and dryer about a month ago expecting the best… . What I found was the flat style bottom agitator does not wash clothing very well at all!!. I have tried different wash cycles and water levels thinking it would help but nothing. For the expensive price of your product I was expecting superior washing performance from GE.
It does a very poor job of washing large and or bulky loads with little or no agitation of the clothing or bulky items! The wash load just sits in the middle of the wash tub and moves back-and-forth with on real agitation or washing of clothing using this method!!!!
In closing, .I would not recommend this GE machine for washing large or bulky as it does a very poor job!…
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had this washer for a little over a year and it has given us problems with the spin cycle since about the second month. In addition to that problem, now it will randomly turn itself on and attempt to drain even though there is no water in the drum(of course this always happens in the middle of the night and is super noisy) now I have to call for service as the spin cycle has completely stopped working. We have reset the motor and always "rebalance" the load but the cycle does everything but spin. It is just me and my husband and we wear uniforms to work so this washer is lightly used, I am so disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this model for the engery star rating. It should save some on water usage.
I thought the fabric softener dispencer wasn't working but found out if the deep rinse cycle is activated the dispenser works great!

Very noisy!! Does not do well with sheets and blankets. They get balled up and makes tub out of alignment. Will not own again.

Nice and large top loader

We like the machine and it’s capacity. What we don’t like, occasionally it goes off balance and needs to be paused to have the load Re adjusted, this doesn’t happen all of the time but it does happen and is an inconvenience. It’s also on the loud side.
Other than those two issues, it’s a great machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This GE. Washer Is great you can add clothes,after it starts. The lid unlocks,and you can check water levels, soap,ect. Spins great. Very happy..I love it when you can open the lid when washing and add clothes you find that you forgot. Very user friendly. Love it

Okay...issues with heavy loads

We loved our new washer...the only issue has been with large/heavy loads. For example our comforter or blanket. It spends between 60-90 minutes trying to wash it and re calibrate the machine because it says the load isn't even. The amount of water and energy wasted is CRAZY! We have not figured out a way to ring out those blankets enough to actually be able to even place in the dryer either!
