The first immediate difference was how dry the towels were just from the spin cycle! The dryer only had to do half the work it was used to.

We have had our washer for a couple of months and are very pleased. We especially like the express cycle since we do small loads and it saves on time and water.

Overall, the washer washes cloths, not too impressed.
I dont like the text display, you could have done better than having 4 letters of a word display at a time, scrolling across the screen. You could have used smaller lettering to at least be able to get one word at a time on the display.
The fill tray for soap and softener is a bit flimsy. Although I do really like the Max fill indicators in the tray, saves me from having to use those bottle tops for measuring.
I am undecided about no agitator in the center, but it does make for much easier filling and removing clothes.

This washer is Very noisy, much more so than my old Kenmore.
I do like having the glass top so I can see the cloths running. Almost as entertaining as some of the latenight talk shows here lately.
I do appreciate the water saver features that are implemented now in washers, helps save the environment and water costs.
I like the Sanitize feature to clean the tub, although I haven't used it yet.

I read all the bad reviews after I purchased my GE washer and almost returned it...I think I have adjusted to it now....it is loud...but if it was enclosed there would be less noise. I am learning how to adjust all the wash loads and it is working a lot better....I would say to read the manual... I had a GE washer years ago that lasted 20 years...
