So far, so good

I purchased this washer to replace an almost 20 year old GE Profile washer which could no longer be repaired due to age. It comes with a bit of a learning curve, but so far this new washer has performed well. It has cut my laundry hours by half. I like its capacity which helps with laundering fewer loads, and also the items are pretty dry after the spin cycle, which in turn makes for shorter times in the dryer. This appliance does not have a tall central agitator, and I was afraid that items would be very wrinkled at the end of the spin cycle, but I've had no issues: a few shakes to untangle items before moving them into the dryer or to air-dry is all that's needed. It washes and cleans the clothing really well. I've only had the washer for a relatively short period, so time will tell if it is prone to breakdowns and repairs.

Really good washer

I brought a GE dryer 3 years ago and really like it. When my washer started to have issues, I decided to go with GE again. Bigger and easy to operate.

Large tub to do large items and big loads

I bought this washer for a second home where linens need to be laundered frequently. I love the larger tub but without an agitator not sure it is washing clean. The water level is never adequate and I usually use the deep fill for towels and linens. Water fills the tub sporadically so never sure the clothes are washed and rinsed adequately.

After using a machine with an agitator for years, it's great to load this top-loader. I almost enjoy doing laundry now at the press of a button for most loads.
