Replaced my 14 year old GE profile with this unit-

While I have only had this unit for less than a week, it works exactly the same as my old GE Profile washer which lasted 14 years! That is why I chose GE again. I love that it is a top loading machine that works like a front loader. It’s gentle on the clothes without the agitators common in a lot of top loading washers but cleans well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good wash cycle controls

2 weeks old. This washer has flexible wash cycles and some ability to adjust water level.
Pro: the ability to add water to the wash & rinse cycles.
Con: the spin cycle has less flexibility. Some clothes are definitely wrinkled by the machines eagerness to remove water. Particularly sheets

This machine is noisy. The design engineers should visit the designers in the dishwasher department. The noise is quite unnecessary.
The spec should include a dB rating as a competitive advantage/disadvantage.

Love doing laundry now

got both washer and dryer. love them both. so easy. just dial and press start. my clothes are cleaner and brighter! and the dryer plays a little song when finished. love the no agitator. easily washes king size quilts.
