Very happy with this washer so far

We've had this washer for four months now and I am very happy with it. Our old top loader w/center agitator finally bit the dust, and I chose this one after lots of Internet research. I do have to be careful to not use quite as much detergent as with the old machine, otherwise I feel a little soapy residue on the clothes... but overall it gets things very clean. Love the time delay feature - I use that ALL the time so that clothes get done right before I get home from work and aren't sitting there wet all day. I also love being able to wash sleeping bags and comforters, which I couldn't do before (although I have to throw them in the dryer on air fluff for 10 minutes first to get the dog hair off - this doesn't get dog hair off well at all - but that hasn't bothered me).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the auto sensor for load size; saves water with smaller loads! Otherwise works as expected.

Good Washer, unsure about how long it will last

I bought this washer with matching dryer from Costco. The washer is very functional and does what I want my washer to do. However, there is a lot of noise generated while washing. I am unsure how long this washer will last before breaking down.

I researched brands and models, pretty thoroughly, I thought. Apparently, more investigation time should have been spent on this investment. Nothing major wrong with the thing, it just doesn't seem to clean all that well. And it is lousy at heavy loads such as towels or bathroom throw rugs -- stopping even when the load is a couple of bath towels and one small cotton terry rug. That is extremely disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
