Great washer so far!

I bought this washer about 2-3 months ago and have loved it so far. It is fairly quiet and has many wash options. Now I'm saving up to go back and get the matching dryer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

You need to read the instructions before you use this machine. Even when you follow the instructions, sometimes the items in the washer get tangled. You need to be very careful with delicate items.
It gets clothes clean enough, but again you have to follow the instructions carefully. It uses very little water. It uses so little that hot water is cooled by the mass of the items being washed. Set your home water heater to scalding . The machine runners and spins well.

Many cycles and easy to use

I have had this washer just about 3 months. I find it leaves soap film on clothing unless I use the deep rince option. Generally, it cleans clothing well. The cycles are not too long, and there is a short cycle if you are in a hurry. The basket is very large and I have washed a queen-sized quilt with no problem. I appreciate that it can be stopped a few minutes into the cycle if you need to add something. Even though the washer capacity is large, the floor footprint is small, making this set perfect for a small laundry room.

Good washer, but not good for sheets, blankets

I bought it a few months ago and it has worked well. I think the clothes, in general, come out cleaner than with my previous washer. However, it doesn't handle sheets, blankets, or rugs very well. I don't know if it's the length of the items or the bulkiness, but they just don't come out very clean. Also, it gets off-balance a lot (and I did level the washer on installation). This condition rarely happened with my previous washer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not very happy

I purchased this machine about 3 months ago. It is VERY noisy, the deep fill option works sporadically and it appears the bleach dispenser is now leaking into the machine as I pour the bleach in instead of dispensing it during the wash. I wish I could return this machine. I purchased this washer hoping being “made in America” it would last longer than 6 years unlike my previous two.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Greatly Appreciate theTub Size!

Thanks GE for a heaven sent washing machine. I was so impressed with the top load, large tub size that I started washing my largest items immediately. (Had a front load small tub other brand for 8 yrs.) My husband and son received training prior to any washing; "Do Not mess with my washer." My weekly wash smells so fresh and clean. Delicate pillows and quilts can be washed without worry.
I would recommend this to a friend!
