They don’t make washers like they used to

Bought washer is April, broken by Christmas. Light use and still Did not hold up

Ran first load. Love express wash! Spins well. Clothes dry quickly. Did not purchase matching dryer yet. This replaces an 8 yr old one with agitator that wrapped the clothes so tight around it. Then started leaking. Enough! So far so good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Efficient, Looks Great

Very impressed with tub size and ability to sense size of load and how much water to use. Lots of options for cycles. Its cycle process does make a lot of noises, but not overly loud and worth the noise.

Great Deal for The Money

Having read reviews I expected a loud washer. I didn't expect the type of loud it comes with. If you've ever watched a science fiction show where the alarms on the space ship go off then you'll understand. I thought I'd never get used to it but somehow I have. I've had this over 4 months and I no longer notice the noise (which is only for a few minutes at the start). The washer does everything it should with no problems so far. It spins the clothes pretty dry. Its fast compared to the same type of washer I use at work and it has not gone off balance on me yet. Overall I'm very satisfied. Dropped a star due to noise level.

Whitest whites!

We had used a front end loading washing machine for years. Then it started leaking through the detergent dispensing drawer. This new top loader has resulted in the whitest whites ever. And it is extremely quiet. Bravo GE!

Tough on clothes

I am using a lot less detergent. Machine is extremely hard on clothes and they come out VERY wrinkled. I have reduced liquid detergents to 1 teaspoon per load but still end up with white spots on dark clothes even with deep fill option.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
