Washer not working

My husband and I just bought a GE washer and when we plugged in the water hose connections and turned it on water started going into the washer..... the washer isn’t even plugged in, not sure what to do in this situation, google is saying it may be the water inlet valve? Our dryer is just fine I just need our washer to work

I am very pleased with this washer. My clothes are amazingly clean and it uses so much less water. The spin is wonderful as it removes so much water from fabric that the dryer time saves more than half of the time it used to take. I love the settings as they allow me to be particular with certain items I wash. I have been greatly pleased and would buy this washer again!

We love our washer!

We originally ordered another brand, but after researching, we decided to switch to GE. We are so glad we did! We love our washer! The top loader without an agitator is very roomy. We fit a comforter quite well. Our clothes come out clean and well rung - cuts drying time! Overall we are very happy with our product.

Amazing machine

After years of owning top load agitators, and hearing horror stories about front loader leaks and mold. We decided on this top load HE model. We read reviews and looked at other models and manufacturers. For us this appeared to have the best quality and reviews that were mostly positive. So far it’s an amazing machine. Noise isn’t a factor for us, our machine isn’t in the house, but seems quiet, when we’re near it. Wash times are fast (around 30 minutes) compared to our 10 year old agitator model. We’re not even close to being big “green” or recycling types, but we understand it doesn’t take 55 gallons of boiling water to wash a load of clothes. We let it do it’s thing and our clothes come out clean and untangled. I think you just have to get over the fact that granny’s and mom’s machines needed enough water to fill three bathtubs to clean things, and HE machines that are working correctly don’t. We’re looking forward to reduced water bills and our detergent lasting longer. Plus our drying times are shorter, because this machine seems to get more water out in the spin cycle. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this machine. If it works as well as our GE refrigerator, everything should be great.
