GE makes a reliable product
Our local appliance store sells GE and we buy all our appliances there for their great service. This model is not as silent as our last GE model purchased 9 years ago. However, it does an excellent job of cleaning without twisting.

Got this to replace a front loader that died - this is such an improvement - gets the clothes really clean - like the fact there is no center post to block the cleaning of my comforters.

I have seen fancier looking machines for about the same money in the big box store. But I am not fooled by appearances, I look for value. This machine has met and exceeded my expectations. My last GE washer did perfect duty for close to 20 years. But don’t get me wrong, it has style and toughness. More options than I will probably use and I like that it is water efficient.
