I have owned this product only a couple of days. The washer has great features and is very quite. It has a large capacity for washing big buck items or 1 or 2 delicate items. It is also energy efficient and uses the correct amount of water contingent on what is being washed. The pricing on this product is affordable.

My wife likes it because you can add water (without having to do it manually by dumping water in with a bucket) so the wash gets fully rinsed.

Easy to set up and use

We bought this washer because our six year old LG was nothing but problems from the beginning. GE has better reliability and quality based on consumer callbacks and reviews. This machine has so far lived up to its reputation. It was easy to install, use and we have had no problems. I would recommend this products for anyone searching for a new washer.

Technolgically Inferior to Older Model

This unit replaced an 11 year old model that we beat to death. It was great machine. This "newer" model, while 50 pounds lighter. lacks almost all of the technology of the older machine - No communication between washer and dryer, reversion from automatic dispensing of soap or softner, no automatic setting of water temperature. Does an adeqate job of washing clothes
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
