We had our last washer for almost 20 years. It was a GE also. We hope this washer has as much life as the last! So far, we love our new washer. Our clothes look great, and this washer uses less water. We are very pleased with our purchase.

There have been advances in clothes-washing technology since we bought our last one 10 years ago. This washer uses a lot less water than the old one did, and it seems to do a better job. I give it 4 stars because it's kind of noisy. But it works fine.

I like having a top loader machine and I choose GE because this is what my kitchen appliances are and they have worked great and are so reliable. The machine works and cleans great. It does it’s own water level control, not quite sure how though. My only complaint is it’s rather noisy. Since my washer is in the house I notice this but I can close the door and it’s not too bad. Unfortunately you can’t test them out before you buy but I am happy with it overall.
