I haven't purchased a washer in over 15 years, so buying one without an agitator gave me some pause, as well as the "high efficiency" concept (I can see through the top and when there is no water sloshing about it is disconcerting LOL). So, to say the least, I was skeptical. All that being said, the washer works great! Clothes are clean, spins well, easy to use. There are, of course, many more features than my old washer, so I recommend you read the manual. But easy enough after that. Happy with my purchase!

My old washer broke. Some friends told me about GE washer and how good it is. So I purchased one. I like it a lot It’s so quiet and the ease of it is so nice. It cleans everything great !!

Very noisy. No alarm when done. Tub is too deep to reach the bottom.

Very Nice Washer!

We've been using this washer for 3 days now, so I can't speak about longevity. However, this machine works perfectly! My wife and I like it better than our previous machine, which was a different manufacturer.We had previously purchased a washer/dryer set and the washer gave out after just 8 months of use. We had the extended warranty and paid extra to upgrade to what we thought was the flagship model. We were never completely happy with it, but it worked. Well, the unit gave out last week after only 5 years of moderate use.
We decided to give the GE a try and there was a sale at our local store, so we made the purchase. The GE unit has a nice design and a lot of features. My wife's initial experience with it is positive unlike the previous unit we had. I have a feeling that we will be purchasing the matching dryer as I've already spent a small fortune replacing heating elements in the unit we have now.
I would recommend this to a friend!
