Washer is noisy. Not up to expectations. Would NOT buy again.

There has been a family joke that grown kids bring their laundry home! Well, in my case, the joke was just the opposite. GMa drove 60 miles to her son and daughter-in-law's house for their HE washer for bed quilts, large loads, saved loads, drapes, rugs, and on and on with the excuse to see grandkids! NOT ANY MORE since I have the GTW680BSJ. So far, I have tried small delicate loads, no spin loads, large quilt loads, just a regular load, antique linens, and more, and the washer has performed exceptionally. Even better: quietly. Easy to use, just followed the directions for filling and settings. I do hope this washer performs as long as the old HotPoint, 30+ years, but so far, I feel it was a good choice for all my needs. BTW, my sweet grandkids wonder where I am :)

Excellent washer and dryer set

Had to add shims for extra height for leveling, but that may be that our floor just isn’t level enough. So far, the best washer I’ve ever owned! I would like to see more instructions on washing bulky or stuffed items and different fabric care in the manual.

We are impressed with the size loads that this washer can accommodate. Clothes come out clean and just damp so they dry quickly in the dryer.
