Great features

Super large capacity. It makes some different sounds than my old, tired machine but overall, it's a beast. Once I figure out all of those features, it'll become my favorite appliance. Right now it leaks from the water intake manifold but a request for a technician has been submitted. I'm sure it's a simple fix & GE is all over that problem

Love my new washer!

I literally prayed for a washer like this. I used one that belonged to a friend and fell in love. I love the clear lid so I can see what's going on when things go bump. She has a little chime or melody that is pleasant to hear when I turn the machine on. The best features for us are the "sensing" that only uses as much water as is necessary for the load you have- even if it is one hanky! Also, my mom has dementia and I am able to set the machine for her using a feature called "My Cycle", so she just presses START and she is done! I am told I can also use this washer from the GE app, which can allow me to start it remotely for mom when I am not home! This machine has more than enough room for my King size comforter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great washer! We had a front load Maytag and the control board went out. We priced washers and this one was the same price a new control board would be. We have had it for 32 months and everything works great. What I have noticed is, the drying time is less because the washer actually spins and gets the water out!!

Out of balance too often, seems to abrade clothing

If doing towels or sheets, even after loading evenly, becomes unbalanced and you have to manually even the load halfway through a wash cycle. Seems to be harsh on clothing due to agitator and not enough water in machine, even using deep fill cycle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
