Not happy at all

Have had this washer alittle over 4 years and have had problems since day one . First washer that got delivered didn't work . It spun uncontrollable, it banged pop and slapped . So we had it replaced . Then on second one the lid lock worked when it wanted too and this one also spun violently too but not bad enough to have the tech say its not normal. Now broken again and store warranty is up by two months and it won't drain and the spinning is so bad the washer walks . We tried everything, moving the cloths around to balance it. Junk , I can't believe this washer has good reviews. This thing never cleaned the clothes right and would always leave lint and soap residue on them even in deep fill .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Started off being very quiet. Within a few months was extremely loud. We have a first floor laundry room so was very disruptive. We had it repaired, a part replaced. Was a little better for a few months (never as quiet as when we first bought it). Now it is extremely loud again.
Also, it has a large drum; I never over stuff it, yet all my clothes come out extremely wrinkled. Can’t afford a new set, so am stuck with this one.
Was so excited to “buy American”. This is the worst washer i have ever had. I will NEVER buy anything GE again.

Very disappointed with the machine. I purchased the larger tub in order to be able to was larger items as blankets and such. Even when washing one lightweight full size blanket the machine wads up the item and gets horribly off balance. I have to stay near the machine for the full cycle. I’ve never had a machine do this.

Size does matter - go for the large capacity

This is the first large capacity washing machine we have owned and absolutely love it. We can easily wash bedding and comforters unlike in the past. And even with larger loads of clothing, they come out clean every time. And it is a good looking machine.
