Noting but issues

This is the second GE washer and dryer combo we have purchased and the last. Just like with the last washer, it starts agitating when not in use JUST LIKE THE LAST ONE!!
The dryer started leaving black grease like marks on my clothes (mostly noticeable in lighter clothes) again JUST LIKE MY LAST ONE.
I am fed up with this company. With multiple service calls for each appliance they finally deemed them both irreparable. Waste of money, time and now more damage to my clothing.

I’d love it if it would fill up more, I don’t feel our clothes are getting thoroughly clean, some still smell like before they were washed. Bad design!

Thank you so much for sharing your review. We're so sorry to hear the water is not filling up as you would like it to and that your clothes are not getting completely cleaned. It is normal for the water level not to cover the top of the clothes. This washer does have a deep fill option to add additional water.

Good Washer

I like the impeller feature. I also like that it doesn’t use a lot of water. The washer is large enough to wash blankets and bedspreads. However, I’m 5’1” and I have to stand on my tippy toes to reach the bottom so if you’re short you may want to go a little smaller. I like the deep fill feature. I’m happy with it so far. My daughter has the same washer and she likes it as well.

Water level issues

We consistently need to add water to the load. The “auto” fill will not give enough water to get the entire load wet... every time!!

There are two ways "Deep Fill" can be used on your washer: To add a little more water: Press the Deep Fill button once before starting the cycle to add 3 gallons of water to the wash load. Once the washer has stopped filling, you can press it again to add 3 more gallons.
If you need a full tub fill: "Press and hold" Deep Fill button for 3 seconds to fill the washer to the maximum water level. It will fill to approximately 26 gallons.

Unlike most washing machines this doesn’t have that big pole in the middle it’s just wide open! Super quiet and efficient!

Great investment

This seems to be a great great washing machine. Its pretty quiet and the clothes always come out clean without any remaining detergent in them. If there is anything room for improvement it would have be finding a way for the machine to balance itself a little better for the spin cycle. Its not bad but it does tend to walk a little no matter how much or how few items are inside. Overall a still a great purchase that I would gladly buy again.
