I was under the impression with new technology that the washer would not be as loud as it is. I was looking for a quieter washer.

Broke down after Only 2 years

This GE washing machine GTW680BSJWS broke down and stopped working only after 2 years. I did not expect this of a high-capacity GE washer. It will be very costly to repair and probably force me to buy another washer. I've contacted GE for support since it is still relatively new, but was disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
