Worst washer Ive ever owned!!

I cant explain the frustration this machine has caused us! To say it doesn't perform is a joke. This is my first and last, without an agitator. I have to babysit this thing to stop the cycle and re-adjust the clothes or it's literally walking out the bathroom door!! Almost every single load gets lopsided requiring me to pause, wait for it to stop unlock, and I rearrange the load to make it balance and hopefully start over and finish the cycle. I've had to do this multiple times while just washing ONE LOAD of casual clothes. Then there's the sheets, towels, blankets.... same crap! To say Im fed TF up is putting it calmly. I will NEVER own another non-agitator machine again! Oh but wait there's MORE! It uses less water, so much less that i have to use the Deep Fill button with every load! And then it still doesn't wash them clean. Please DON'T BUY THIS MACHINE!! Its been nothing but a headache for 3 years!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're so sorry for any inconvenience with the frequent out of balance loads and the walking/vibration issue. We suggest making sure the washer is leveled. Also, if the machine is overloaded, the clothes may not be able to move freely and may be more likely to throw the basket off balance. It leaks

Washer is 2 1/2 years old and it leaks intermittently from the bottom right side. Repair guy shows up a day early and when I am not home, so this info is second hand. Repair guy says it is overflow from when the washer is out of balance due to the load. What kind of washing machine leaks when it is out of balance.? I've been doing laundry for over 40 years and never had this problem. And like others on this page, I have never had so much trouble with towels and sheets prior to this machine, I have to rearrange the towels every time and the sheets almost every time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there - Thanks for the feedback. We hate to hear of the trouble you've had with your washer leaking and washing towels and sheets. This isn't the owner experience we would want for you and we truly do apologize for your inconvenience.
We recommend you load clothes around the Infusor first and then continue to layer clothes on top as you load upward. Once you load around the Infusor you can load to the top of the holes in the wash basket. This loading method will prevent throwing in a large item like a sheet or towel directly on top of the Infusor.

after tracing stains on clothes to this ge washer with rusting cabinet frame which was less than 5yrs old and not installed in an area that would promote rust- product had slight surface rust near bleach dispenser-noticed paint peeling beyond slight rust stain & blistering paint. around dispenser. peeled blistering paint off and found area completely rusted-I separated the top from the base cabinet and found the entire top rim part of cabinet rusted with the rusted metal flaking into the tub. the base rim where they join together was also totally rusted around the whole rim-this machine causes damage to clothes with rust stains that will never come out. These clothes have to be thrown away-definitely would not recommend this or any GE product to anyone based on my experience and quality control of the manufacturing process on this machine

It was good while it lasted. I don’t see how it’s rusting so bad. Every time I do a load chunks of rust go in my laundry.
