POOR PERFORMANCE

VERY DISSAPOINTED IN THIS WASHER, HAVING TO WASH CLOTHES TWICE TO GET CLEAN AND FABRIC SOFTNER DISPENSER DID NOT WORK FROM DAY ONE, AFTER IT GOES THROUGH THE WASH CYCLE THE FABRIC SOFTNER REMAINS IN THE DISPENSER.

Please don't make the mistake I made - DONT BUY

After doing some research about GE products, I made this purchase. My biggest mistake I made is buying this GE product. I had so much respect for GE brand, but this product is such a crap. I purchased the Washer and dryer bundle. Problem started with Dryer, first control board stopped working after 3 months of purchase. Thankfully, it got covered through 1st year warranty. This product need technician every 3 to 5 months. After the Dryer, it is the Washer. Control board acting weird, it does not let you select any program. If it starts washing then it is purely luck. Sometimes, you need to rinse and dry cloths on your own hands as it half washes cloths and stop. Dryer never stops creating problem, it now takes 70 plus minutes dry cloths which was 35 minutes on day1. GE, please live up to your standards and do not make these crap products.

Turns on by itself!

We have had a technician out before to fix the washer. It is now doing it again. With the lid open it will start filling by itself. Today i learned that while in a cycle you can still open the lid .

Confusing washer

This wash cycles are confusing. It only seems to load the same amount of water no matter how many items I load or what size. It doesn't get the lint off of clothes because they seem to stay on top of the clothes in the washer instead of being pulled to the bottom for cleaning. I think it's just a very confusing washing machine, not simple, if you want more water you need to baby sit it. I wish I had my old washer back even with all the noise it made.
