Very poor quality!!

This machine was leaking from the bottom and the inside in the first 18 months. This machine should not have had problems in such a short period of time. GE wanted approximately the same amount to repair as the original cost. Totally unacceptable. No more GE machines for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Junk that didn't last long

We've had our set for just a few years and both have been worked out several times right from the start. Dryer making loud noices...washer malfunctioning and ending cycle with cloths still in soapy water. Why can't anyone build stuff worth a crap now?!

Hello, thanks for sharing with us. If there are suds in the washer after a cycle has finished, it could be from using too much detergent or soft water. We recommend using a high efficiency detergent. You can find more troubleshooting tips in the use and care manual. Here's a link:

The washer has a good sized basket. It has great features, and does a great job of cleaning our clothes.

Can’t even wash the detergent off clothes!!

Don’t think I have ever written a washer machine review before… but this one needs it. What a waste of money! 2 years in and I’m pretty sure our clothes are never clean. Even washing on “extra dirty”, this machine can’t even manage to wash the detergent off the clothes. Same issue with washing whites. I washed our dogs white blanket and it came out with stripes of clean, but mostly still dirty. Do not buy!

This is hands down the best washer I’ve ever had ! I’m be had it for over 7 years and it’s been soo faithful and reliable since the first day ! It doesn’t need to be cleaned often ! Doesn’t produce a foul smell after years of use ! What I like the most is it can handle and side of load .
I would recommend this to a friend!

The washer doesn't rinse very well

Good washer for washing clothes but it does not spin well enough to rinse all that water out my clothes. I have to let it spin again to rinse the clothes several time. It also do not do well with heavy items like blankets and big coats.

So much money for just a few years. We had the washer & dryer set. The control panel started malfunctioning a few months ago on our dryer, and now it won't work at all. The control panel on our washer works sporadically now. What a scam.
