After not even 7 years it stopped working not spinning at all
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good while it lasted

Absolutely loved this washer - robust, dependable, great reviews,etc. And then it died after 5 years. I'm sorry, but I expect more for from GE, particularly at this price. Heck, our cheap LG lasted longer!! Recommend you pass on this if you are looking for a long lasting machine.

Have had this washing machine for 6 years now. Love it. It is quite deep so if you’re shorter or have short arms, it may be difficult to fish out your clothes.
I would recommend this to a friend!
