Bad balance issue

Washer didn't wash cl I these very clean. The where would get terribly off balanced! Had to buy a new waazher. Won't go without an agitator in the middle ever again .

Control panel glitches after a few years of use.

Had this for over 5 years. If you don’t keep up with a weekly basket clean cycle, you get a septic type smell. Lately, the control panel started glitching and won’t hold the chosen options like ‘deep fill’ or ‘deep rinse.” This results in most of my loads having to be rewashed since the fabric softener was skipped. Yes, I’ve done all the resets in the instructions, and only option at this point is to pay for another panel. No thanks. I’ll get rid of it and get a different brand. GE didn’t seem to last as long as my previous Maytag; disappointed in this manufacturer.
It washes well, btw. It just sucks that we have to buy another machine with only a few years in. This lame recession has everyone struggling. LGB!

In regards to the control panel, we recommend trying an electronic reset. This can be done by removing the power cord for 2-3 minutes then plugging it back in. The 1-year manufacturer's warranty is for any factory specified part of the washer which fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship. However, the 5-year warranty is for the motor, if it should fail due to a defect in materials or workmanship.

When working the machine is excellent and very simple to use. Unfortunately, there is not a month that goes by where the machine does not malfunction in some way.

I had no problems with it until now…… It leaks/drips water and it will not stop Also I can have a load washing and once the water drains from the rinse cycle, it’ll start filling the drum up with water and begin another wash cycle 🤦🏽♀️ Omg this washing machine is driving me crazy

GE has really taken advantage of people with this one! Metal pieces in my washing machine and of course, the metal plate under the agitator is broken into a million pieces just like the other 269739 reviews I’ve seen!! GE should fix this at no cost to buyers!! Seems like this is a malfunction on their end.
