Truly horrible washing machine no redeeming values

Clothes are a tangled mess and not clean. When washing large items, at the end of the cycle the a large item will be situated in the machine like a giant hamburger bun. The edges will be rolled under and there will be lint covering the dry top of the "bun." The only way to remedy this is to put in many gallons of extra water by hand. The "bulky items" and "deep fill" options will not help.
When washing a load of shirts, all the sleeves will be completely tangled at the end of the cycle.
I often have to wash my items a second or third time to get them clean. Supposedly water saving? Not if you have to add extra water by hand and wash clothes a second time!
The machine doesn't give you any real choices. It's all pre-set cycles, none of which work well.
I'm appalled by how much extra work is involved in washing clothes with this machine. Between adding extra water and checking constantly to make sure my clothes aren't being ruined by the washer, I dread having to do the laundry. My last machine, which was essentially broken, worked much better.
I have never in my life hated an appliance the way I hate this one. Zero stars.

It doesn’t spin properly.

We bought this washer / months ago and we already had already several problems.
- it does not spin properly: we have to replace the wet laundry in the drum by hand otherwise the washer shakes and bumps as it scared us.
- it sometimes doesn’t drain.
- the first washer had to exchanged to another new one because water leaked from the cold water hose connector.

Easily unbalanced during spin cycle

Washer becomes unbalanced too easily during spin cycle. Unable to wash bulky items such as blankets without washer walking across the floor and making loud banging noise as tub hits against washer cabinet. Need to remain close by during the spin cycle if clothes redistribution is needed. I never had this problem with my previous 27 year old washer with an agitator. This seems like an engineering design flaw. I bought this washer based on the reputation of the GE brand and I'm sorely disappointed.

I bought in February. I wish I could return it. Washing the clothes in the river would be more effective, especially with whites. Its horrible. I would not buy again.

Not what we were told!!

I just purchased this washer and was told that it would be quiet as that was my number one thing I was looking for in a washer. It is so very loud, you can hear it all over the house!! I had one queen size sheet set in there, and it was so loud I had to stop the machine, I found the straight sheet was in one big ball inside one part of the fitted sheet, no way it could be clean that way. I am very disappointed that I bought this set!!! Would love to have my old set back, but it was hauled off by the delivery people!

Terrible with large loads

I bought this machine 2 years ago for its large capacity and deep fill cycles. It has NEVER been able to ckean loads of sheets or beach towels with out getting off balance and shutting off. I am ready to throw it away! The dryer is great. I was just on this site to try to maybe find out if I got a lemon or something.

I purchased this washer a few months ago. I love how much I can load it up and have the high fill option. Clothes come out clean and less twisted since there's no agitator. I love it so much I bought one for our lake house as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Run away from this model! It's NOISY and it STINKS!

I WANT MY MONEY BACK!
GE has gone too far this time.
When they bring it to your house to install it, you have to sign an EXTRA AGREEMENT about how NOISY the machine is.
They don't warn you about the STINK this design produces!
