Brand new and does NOT work!!

This was delivered to my house today. It powers on and lights up. After pushing start it makes a humming noise and then stops. Very mad and disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lint Filter Defect

Dryer has up to date features and dries items very quickly. Unfortunately, since using it (one month-about 15 loads), clothes, hair, and Bounce sheets get caught on the outside of the lint filter. Has caused rips in two shirts and negates the use of the Bounce softener since the sheet gets stuck on the lint filter (see photos).
Planning on contacting GE warranty so they can help me fix the problem (replace lint filter part or....).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

THIS IS A MATCH TO THE WASHER I PURCHASED A YEAR AGO. INSTALLATION WAS SIMPLE. THOUGH I SWITCHED THE SWING OF THE DOOR. A LITTLE EXASPERATING FOR A DIYer. BUT, WITH PATIENCE I MANAGED TO GET IT DONE. NO DAMAGE!!!!

The dryer is only 14 months old and it is being repaired for the second time. First repair was for the temperature control and now the drum is not turning. Thanks GE, now I have 2 loads of sheets and towels that I cannot dry.

I thought when buying this GE HE product that I would be getting a High end product. Nope. Instead, I got either a Lemon or they are all terrible. I can not ever get the dry cycles correct no matter what I pick and believe me I have tried them all! This is not my first one either. I have had a high efficiency dryer in another brand before so I thought I knew I was getting a good dryer that would keep my energy bill down. It has not.
